On November 2, Lee Rainie will give a keynote address in Washington D.C. to the annual meeting of the National Science Digital Library conference. Lee’s speech is entitled, “The Distributed Future.” He will report on the Project's latest findings about how Americans use the internet and their cell phones. He will explore how digital technologies have changed people's relationship to each other and to information. Further, he will discuss the coming decade of change in technology and its possible uses by consumers and some of the predictions that have emerged in the Project's extensive surveys of experts.
