Amanda Lenhart and John Horrigan conducted a brownbag lunch for the Federal Trade Commission reviewing the latest Pew Internet data. Amanda's talk covered four years (2004-2008) of data on youth and mobile phones as well as data on youth and video games. The mobile phone data examined adoption over time and the use of mobile phones for connecting and communication with others - via text or voice - and compared teens' use of mobile phones to other communicative digital media. The video game data reviewed youth game play and game genres.
