'The study found that 52 percent of Latinos of Mexican descent use the Internet -- a smaller percentage than Latinos from any other Latin American country. Ricardo Snchez of the Latino/Latina Educational Achievement Project said he's not surprised by the study's findings, because many of the immigrants coming to the United States and to Washington don't come with an education mentality. They come to work, he said. "They want to survive. That's their outlook," said Snchez, chairman of the statewide organization based in Seattle. But it may not be hard to motivate them toward education because they're at a disadvantage without education, English skills and access to technology, he said.
