'"Sure, they'll Google the sniffles.
But there's a limit to the online health help patients seek.
Yet health care marketers lack a magic prescription for capturing their attention, and many are playing catch-up in the information age.
A study released Tuesday shows two-thirds of people online have searched cyberspace for help with a medical problem, which is one in three of all U.S. adults.
And more than half of online users have looked into diet or nutrition, says the nonprofit Pew Internet & American Life Project. It based its findings on a survey of more than 900 people, two-thirds of whom were regular online users."
Many news sites move articles into data bases after a period of time and then offer them for sale, in the process changing the URLs that link to them. Or they require registration. Thus, we provide a link to the front page of the news website and the information necessary to find the story on that site, rather than a direct link to the article.
