Voting for Laughs; Why Younger Americans Turn to TV Comedy for Their Political News

'In a telephone survey of 1,506 individuals, the Pew Internet and American Life Project found that 21 percent of respondents ages 18-30 said they learned about the current presidential campaign from watching TV comedy shows (compared with 9 percent four years ago). Only 6 percent of those ages 30-49 said they regularly learned something from a comedy show.
