Rural Oklahoma has mixed reaction to Internet

'According to a study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project, 52 percent of rural adults now go online, compared with about two-thirds of urban and suburban residents. The study found rural users more likely to access religious or spiritual sites and instant messaging while less likely to purchase items or bank online. "The Internet hasn't diffused into everyday life in rural areas at quite the same clip as it has in other locales," Pew researcher Peter Bell said.
