Online Banking Continues to Gain Adherents

'Interest in online banking increased by about 164 percent in the last two years, according to a recent report by Pew Internet and American Life Project. This year, 37 million Americans banked online, compared to 14 million two years ago, the report states. Across age, gender and race lines, convenience is the No. 1 reason, said Susannah Fox, director of research at the Pew Internet and American Life Project and author of the report.
