E-citizens Find Governments Ready to Serve

'The Pew Internet & American Life project's recent report, "The rise of the e-citizen," said that as of January, 68 million American adults have used government Web sites, up from 40 million in March 2000, when the group first did polling on the topic. Interestingly, the Pew study found that federal and state Web sites are more popular than those of local government.
