"Mobile devices will be the primary tool to connect to the Internet in the year 2020 and voice-recognition and touch-screen interfaces will be much more prevalent, according to a new survey on the future of technology.

Artificial and virtual reality will also have become more embedded in everyday life, according to the survey of hundreds of Internet leaders, activists and analysts by the Pew Internet & American Life Project.

The experts were asked in an online survey conducted with Elon University in North Carolina to predict advances and the role of technology in 2020."


Many news sites move articles into data bases after a period of time and then offer them for sale, in the process changing the URLs that link to them. Or they require registration. Thus, we provide a link to the front page of the news website and the information necessary to find the story on that site, rather than a direct link to the article.
