More Americans turned to the World Wide Web for war information than following September the 11th. If the Gulf War belonged to CNN, some say, then Iraq belonged to the Internet. According to a new Pew Internet poll, 77 percent of online Americans used the Internet in connection with the war, some to send prayers, others to hear their point of view echoed, still more just to keep up with the latest news.
