Social Media and Libraries: New applications for a new generation of users

This presentation highlights recent Pew Internet Project research with a special focus on the adoption of social media applications among teenagers and adults in the U.S. As libraries consider integrating user reviews, tagging and other new features into their websites, they face tough decisions on how to spend limited budgets and human resources on developing library services. These slides provide a series of data snapshots intended to help to inform these decisions.
